Proposal

As I have previously mention I have been want to create a mixed media piece inspired by my travels to Giverny (home of Monet).  While there I captured many beautiful pictures of his famous lily pond.  I would love to do a series of small paintings to hang in my house incorporating watercolor, my first love, with chalk pastels.  My watercolor painting in undergrad where always large scale, 22x30, inspired by my teacher Neva Wood, so I am interested to see how working on a smaller scale will turn out.  This is a great opportunity for me to get back into the art making process, besides on student examples which I turn out at record speed these days teaching Pk-12.  I am excited to begin working this weekend!  :)
